BIO:
Ryan Lindner is pursuing his Master of Arts in Political Science with a concentration in the United Nations and Global Policy Studies at Rutgers Univerity - New Brunswick. A recent graduate from the Rutgers School of Arts and Sciences, he earned Magna Cum Laude with a double major in Political Science and African, Middle Eastern, and South Asian Languages and Literatures: Arabic Language (AMESALL). Ryan is currently working as Graduate Assistant for the UNMA program.
Ryan has gained experience through various roles including as an intern at the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce through the Rutgers IFaD program, a Teaching Assistant at Rutgers University - New Brunswick, and a Social Services and Workforce Development intern at the Arab American Association of New York in New York City. During his time at the Arab American Association of New York, he worked with immigrant communities to translate English to Arabic for important documents and issues pertaining to citizenship, social security, permanent residency, and more. Ryan has also held roles as volunteer ambassadors to the Rutgers UNMA program and the Rutgers Eagleton Institute of Politics Center for Youth Political Participation.
Currently, Ryan works as the Graduate Assistant for the UNMA program and as an intern for the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Washington, D.C. At the Jordanian Embassy, he works in the Jordan Information Bureau, reasearching news pertaining to Jordan and the broader Middle East. As part of his undergraduate studies, he studied abroad in Amman, Jordan and studied Jordaninan Arabic and politics. Ryan’s interests include human rights and international law, Middle Eastern politics, and public health issues. He is fluent in English and has advanced language capabilities in Arabic and French.
