Recipient of the Spring 2025 Rutgers CLAS/RAICCS Student Research Grant for research in conducting semi-structured and unstructured interviews with experts, political actors and citizens in Puerto Rico.
In addition, Rivera-Cardona has been selected to participate in the Rutgers/Puerto Rico Archival Collaboration Summer Graduate Program (PRAC), supported by the Mellon Foundation. As part of the program, Santos will be interning at the General Archive of Puerto Rico, and contribute to the preservation and digitization of more than 90,000 documents on Puerto Rican history while also conducting disseration research.
