Ali Karimzadeh Barenji is a Ph.D. student in the Political Science department. He graduated from the University of Tehran's International Relations master program, where he focused on studying conflicts, strategic culture, and the foreign policy formations of weak states. His research centers on understanding how states' domestic capabilities shape their foreign policy objectives, specifically with an emphasis on the Middle East region.
Currently, he intends to become International Relations and Comparative Politics major and minor, respectively, researching how states' foreign policy goals will be determined by their financial and coercive capacity.
