David holds a B.A. in Economics at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Colombia); a B.A. in Political Science (Cum Laude) at Universidad Nacional de Colombia; a M.A. in Economics (Honors) at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Colombia); a Master in Public Policy at University of Chicago (Honors) and a M.Sc. in Development Management (Distinction) at London School of Economics. He won the Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJWBGSP) in 2013 and the Chevening Scholarship in 2018. His research encompasses both comparative politics and methods with interests in institutions, development, political regimes, international trade, globalization and sovereignty.
