    Kathleen is a doctoral candidate whose dissertation research integrates work on symbolic representation from the field of women and politics with scholarship on emotions and social identities from political psychology. 

    She has worked as a research assistant for the Center for American Women and Politics and the Eagleton Center for Public Interest Polling. Her teaching experience includes courses such as Introduction to Political Science Research Methods and Law and Politics. 

    Kathleen holds an M.A. in political science and a Graduate Certificate in women’s and gender studies from Rutgers University. She received her B.A. from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA, where she worked as the Student Director of the Muhlenberg College Institute of Public Opinion.
