Pamela Makadsi is currently interning at American Enterprise Institute in their critical threats project as al Qaeda- Yemen analyst in Washington DC. The project conducts intelligence analysis on unclassified information to produce continuous assessments of threats to the United States. Pamela is actively monitoring the civil war in Yemen and researching terrorist organizations such as al Qaeda and ISIS in Yemen. As an analyst at AEI, Pamela writes daily security reviews and publishes them on the Critical Threat Project website. The security review consist of daily events happening in Yemen to assist policy makers in DC. She also writes intelligence summary every week analyzing and assessing the Yemen conflict and the Salafi-jihadi movement in the country.
