BIO:
Mackenzie Jensen is a masters candidate in United Nations and Global Policy Studies at Rutgers University. She is interested in the field of development. Mackenzie holds a B.A from The University of Texas at Austin. There, she majored in government and European Studies with a minor in French. Her undergraduate thesis brought together these degrees by looking at the effects of laïcité on human security in France and its former colonies. She also had the honor to compete as a student athlete for the Longhorns on the Texas rowing team.
Mackenzie was an advocacy intern at World Vision International in New York, this past fall. She was recently promoted to consultant at World Vision for the Spring 2023 semester.
