• Taylor Symes

Taylor Symes attended the United Nations and Global Studies program from June 2020 through December 2021. Taylor will graduate with two concentrations; one in Democracy, Participation and Community, and the other in Human Rights, Gender Equality and International Law. 

While in Rutgers UNMA program, Taylor served as the Multi-Faith Fellow for the International Religious Freedom Secretariat during the summer of 2021. Through this remote opportunity, Taylor gained experience in administration, research, data synthesis, and digital communications. Additionally, classes such as ‘Islam, Women, and Development’.

Post-graduation Taylor aims to work with an NGO in positions concerned with human rights, international development, and intersectional advocacy. She aspires to combine her passions of sociology and international politics in her future career.
