Mondays 2:00-3:30pm (Hickman Hall, Room 402)

State-business relations (Eastern Europe, Russia, and China), democratization, transitions to capitalism, comparative foreign policy, and Soviet nostalgia.

I did my undergraduate studies at the University of Bucharest, Dept. of Political Science (English section). In 2005, I received a MA in European Studies, a German language program administered by the Rousse University (Bulgaria) and the Academy of Economic Sciences (Bucharest, Romania) and supported by the Hertie Stiftung, the Hochschulrektorenkonferenz, and the Stability Pact for South-Eastern Europe. From 2005 to 2008, I worked as a lecturer, consultant, researcher, and journalist in Eastern Europe. More info is available on my personal webpage
